My passion is throwing and particularly shapes that aren't round!

I love the challenge of creating different forms from thrown pieces and the technicalities involved in getting the pieces to fit together.

At the moment I am working on colourful sexy women that often find themselves in comical, uncompromising situations. Situations that I regularly find myself in!
I use stoneware clay and decorate with coloured slips which I make using body stains. I then cover with a transparent glossy glaze and fire to 1220 degrees. There then follows a third firing with transfers and lusters.

 

Draaien is mijn passie en dan vooral van vormen die niet rond zijn!

Ik hou van de uitdaging om andere vorm te creëren met gedraaide stukken en ook van het nodige pas en meetwerk om alle onderdelen bij elkaar te brengen.

Momenteel ben ik bezig met kleurrijke sexy dames die zich vaak in komische onverzoenlijke situaties bevinden.
Situaties waarin ik mijzelf ook regelmatig bevind!
